Another Wednesday Wine Committee in the books. Great hosting by @Bill Makens . 1 sparkler, 3 whites, 4 reds, 1 dessert wine all served blind.
So much mango and guava here. Honeyed and ripe, but that fruit just dominates. Orange marmalade, clementine cake, and lychee-like. I couldn’t put this in Sauternes, so I settled on Cali’s Dolce dessert wine.

Sensational, exotic wild flower and tropical fruit basket on a perfect sunny day. Drink young and fresh in my opinion but if you've never had it you're in for a treat!

Intense old vines of Moscatel. If you took all the botrytis out of a great chateau of Sauternes you'd have something with the lightfootedness of this wine without the attitude. Sexy and balletic.
