Definite Old World character on the nose and palate out of the bottle. Gamey aromatics of raw meat, rhubarb and herbs. Develops well after a brief decanting. Medium+ body with a silky mouthfeel and present tannins. The dry palate is peppery with notes of leather, earth, anise, and spices. Long dusty, sophisticated finish of black fruit.
