I just don’t understand how people rate this wine so low. This is absolutely perfect for what it is, even northern Rhône in character which I find to be a great trick in winemaking to transcend the often cloying southern Rhône character. This has energy, freshness, lift, it’s clean, and perfect balance of fruit and a dash of earth. Great food wine. Doesn’t need food.
