Ok, big mistake opening this wine as I thought I had grabbed a Gevrey-Chambertin VV. So let this be a lesson to you all: pay attention when retrieving wine! Now with that said, this was regal with extraordinary old vine concentration, red cherry and red raspberry aromas and flavors. Still exhibiting heavy toast oak from barrels and needs much more time to integrate. Yet this this a wine of class and extra dimension that should come with Grand Cru status. It does not disappoint.

Grapey, straightforward, very young. Reads simple. Not compelling.
