Of it's many different personalities, sometimes Grenache is fat and sweaty, but other times it's ripped and wears a black leather jacket. That's this wine. It's also interesting because it has so much freshness and lift without having much in the way of acid. It's a study in how tannins can act in place of acid.

As good as it gets for Grenache rouge! Absolute freshness despite the age. Good tannin and acid interplay. One of the best vintages of this wine that I have seen. Holding its own nicely
