Reserva Castell Del Remey Gran Premio
Solera of 1910s vintages, bottled late 20s, won some competition(s) in 1929. Supposedly Diamond Creek done Spanish (and earlier)— first growth Bdx clippings lugged to Catalunya. Initially dead and brown. As happens so often, the wine woke up with about an hour of air, put on loads of weight, and color came back to deep red. Both intellectually fun and a pleasure to drink.
