On this carignan kick lately and have always admired well done carmenere. Great little bottle here that brings a lot of those two varietals together with great harmony. Some bright red, pomegranate and cherry notes, but has an earthy and grassy undertone that makes it wild and gorgeous.

Pretty little wine and the Pais does its trick to make this distinctive.

Another first encounter from the half case haul at SLC State Liquor Store near Costco. 50 Carmenere 25 each Carignan and Pais. Interesting wine with quite bright notes.
