Have been consuming copious amounts of clearance wines of late, and just got review withdrawal. I normally won't review sub-par wines, as you can expect the worst from most 'value' wines, and instead highlight the good. While not awful, there isn't much to see here. Way overripe tropical smells bordering on rot, heavy, lemon pudding. Not a great start. There is a bright Apple spot on the palate, with a near-effervescent texture to the acidity. Hard to tell if it is a late addition, but the lemon and lime seem natural, and the vanilla booty is large, but won't crush you.

Not the best example. But I love wines from South Africa and they always take me back there

Smells like a classic Chardonnay, lemon and butter on the nose. Tastes a little ripe, but it's dry and easy to drink.

A little buttery for my taste, but maybe I'm jaded by Sauvignon blanc. Still enjoyable.
