Carmenere from Italy?! Fascinating. A modern style but not overpowering. Mellowed by about 20% merlot, soft oak, vanilla, red plum. There's a nice electricity to it, minerality and hot rock. Very sippable

Benefits from air. Dry at first but opens nicely. Black pepper and ripe dark fruits.

Plummy and somewhat fruity on the front but with a somewhat bitter and slightly earthy finish that isn't to my personal taste.
