Gorgeous nose. Deep woodsy cherry, old English bookshop, tar, smoke, gorgeous deep and present spice, dizzying and so so aromatic. Just stunning. Palate is super velvety with lovely freshness and depth. So sappy and pure. Long finish of chestnut, spice and sappy cherries. Super juicy and so concentrated. So elegant. Great velvety tannins and still some tannins to burn. Wow.

Dec 29th, 2019Stunning nose. So pure and exuberant. Big chestnut and roses. Nuts, nut dust, deep cherry fruit, mulch and such a sense of purity and focus. Really terrific aromas. Palate is youthful and tight but it is all there. Brilliant clarity of dark cherry fruit and such depth. Serious structure and density but also remains elegant and graceful. The fruit pumps on the exceptional finish. Wonderful wine but better in 3-6 years.
