Bright straw gold in color. Lush nose of dried peaches and white flowers. Lush-er full-bodied palate yields the same layered with a bit of white pepper, tropical fruits, and a surprising “tang” (that I’m familiar with from this producer, but still catches me off guard… I suspect the presence of a second variety… Petit Manseng, perhaps?). Medium minus acidity once it settles down, though, but still enough to make this a nice wine with food. Roasted chicken or pork tenderloin spring to mind.
