Supposedly the wine that beat DRC in a Judgment of Paris style tasting and put Paso on the map. Located in a cooler pocket on the Westside of Paso Robles, these vines still exist as the HMR Estate Vineyard for Adelaida, while the rest of Stanley Hoffman’s property is now the site of Daou. As for the wine, it’s not totally dead, but I feel safe saying that the DRC probably aged better.
