Seneca Lake Dry Pinot Noir Rosé

White cherry, herbal.

Sour cherry, nectarine, a bit earthy.

Fresh and bright!

This is my first time having a FLX rosé. Very unique. This was a gorgeous deep pink in the glass. Oddly enough, this was really “spritzy” shortly after pouring. Being pinot and CF, there aren’t many of those sweet, tropical fruits you get on a lot of Napa & Sonoma rosés...watermelon rind, rhubarb tart and a distinct herbal flair aromatics. Acidity feels quite mellow so there is a definite round and soft feel here on the palate. Bruised cherries, strawberry skin and peach. This may sound odd, but there is a note here that reminds me of a cherry limeade. Very solid for the $20 price point.

First winery we went to up here. A great wine to have while eating out side for supper.

Bright strawberry and rhubarb, red fruit and mineral mid palate, bright red fruit finish.

Fresh strawberry and raspberry, some stony characters, good sipping rosé for the early spring :D

Light, fresh wine with a perfect pink color

Notably light and dry for a rose wine. Faint strawberry 🍓 before the finish.

I love this wine. Don’t snooze on these New York State wines. Lovely and refreshing, tart and smooth mouthfeel, aromatic and just a joy to drink. But great with a variety of foods: the acidity and length pair well with spicy and rich foods alike. Get this and enjoy it!
