The wine is a great aperitif with a mineral-driven citrus nose and flavors of grapefruit and lemon in a crisp, fresh acidity. 13.5% abv, Verdelho grape, from Alentejo region in the central-south part of Portugal. It was declared the best wine of the year in Portugal, the first time a white wine had even won the honor.

Not sure I'm a fan. Definitely grapefruit, but something just didn't agree with my palate.
