On the nose, the ripe stone fruits and lemon curd were dominated by roasted sesame seeds - first time for smell of sesame, which I wasn’t sure at first but it grew stronger as the night went on.
On the palate it’s much more balanced with vibrant fresh Asian pear and citrus fruits mingling with roasted nuts, honey, and subtle limestone minerality. Linear acidity provides good tension to textured medium to full body. Long delicate finish.
