Definitely a little tight upon opening. Could have used a couple more years of laying down but solid for the price. Solid nose, smooth from start to finish, but a little too reserved for a cab.

Mar 13th, 2016Thoroughly enjoyed this at a tasting and couldn't pass up a couple of bottles for $15 each (we are talking about a Rutherford Cab). Surprisingly, after opening the first bottle I'm a little bit disappointed. The depth I remember doesn't seem to be there - mostly red and black fruits on a forest floor. Way too tight upon opening, I've had a little bit for four days now and while its drinking better it's still lacking in depth.
