A gorgeous, voluptuous nose of stewed black fruits, menthol, wild flowers and forest floor. Gorgeously soft, juicy and rich on the palate. Flavors of juicy black cherry, black raspberry and pomegranate lead to gorgeous notes of spice and black pepper with incredible, lingering acidity. The finish seemingly lasts forever with tingling acidity, incredibly soft tannins tannins and perfectly balanced fruit. Wow! Possibly the best Hartford I've had to date. Perfect roast pork pairing.

The finish is long and smooth with very fine grained tannins and just a hint of earth.
