Yes, the convicts are back!
This is a whole-grain effort which displays a little bit of everything. It’s a cab, but has a perfume of mulberry and tar. Palette is consistent with notes of olives. Superb structure on the mid-palette, showing moderate extraction. We think this is another $20 gem.
I left the screwcap in shot for

It’s a plum red purple colour in the glass. The nose is more intense than the 13 and not as smoothed out yet it’s highly enticing 🥰 There’s black fruits with dark chocolate and a bit of licquiorce in there. While in the mouth there’s black cherries and berries with meaty tannins. This one will definitely develop over the next few years 🍷 We ended up aerating it to smooth it out further.

This wine was sent to me as a sample, I was under no obligation to post about it.

All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy!

I got upload before done so here's my review: a very nice cab. Probably one of the best I've had from Australia. Notes of pepper and plumb and chocolate. Very well balanced. Great finish. Don't let the screw top fool you, this is a quality vintage of this wine.

Well balanced and fine, sort of vanilla Aussie cab.
