Eighteen Seventy-Three Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Lovely cab from Hall. Loads of bouquet and a ton of fruit on the palate.

Dark fruit, leather and licorice. A little bit of pepper and eucalyptus

Dark red color. Black currant, leathery, old books. Soft on front of tongue. Tanniny as moves back, dry with leather heavy bold on palette, undertones of earth. Surprising smoother softer fade, but lingering tannins tho. So chewy.

2014 tasting great, smooth and flavors bursting of red fruit and mineral earth tones.

2014 Christmas Eve dinner at Uncle Yu’s.

Dark fruit and cherries on the nose. Coco and spices on the pallet. Lasting finish of blackberries and tannins.

Too bad the Badgers didn’t put away New Mexico as fast as we put away this bottle.

Cab bomb. Plenty of fruit forward in the palate. Soft enough tannins and not an oak overload to make this a very nice wine. Definitely a super long finish.

One of my favorite value-for-the-price wines from Hall. Delicious, even on day two and three.

Rich, full bodied, lots of weight, smooth but not flabby. Oak, leather, dark fruit. Very tasty but needs time.
