These wines are f-ing awesome. So glad to come across these. Some of the coolest Austrian wines I've tasted in some time. These along with the wines from Christian Tschida are 🔥🔥🔥

Atanasius is not quite as brutal as he looks. His label says he is 'Charming and accessible scent, open, affectionate and gentle. Very attractive on the palate, not shallow, has developed structure, but hasn’t tapped his full potential. Confident, straightfoward and full of youthful spirit.' For me he was earthy and slightly volatile. Maybe worth a second date. Who needs Tinder when you have personalised wine?

Gut Oggau Atanasius is very chuggable with spiced blueberries, unripe cranberries and bitter dirt, with a chiseled jawline.

Minerailty keeps this fresh. Wild blueberry, dark fruit and medium bodied. Liked a lot.

There were better wines in the lineup but this too was good. First time and need to taste more often.
