Supposedly a good intro bottle for Nebbiolo. It was ok. Some interesting spices. But otherwise, was blah. Nothing too compelling. Wouldn’t buy again.

Another nice traditionally produced Langhe Nebbiolo from Serralunga d’Alba. 14.5% ABV, big boy tannin grip balanced with fruit-forward cherry rhubarb in a lighter style. Eataly.

First time I had this was from a 1/4-full bottle after several days and still soooo good. Revisiting now. Delicate and pure aroma of cherry, flowers, and tobacco. Turns a little more boozy and cotton candy as it evolves. Juicy, tart cherries. The tannins are there but not too harsh. Medium-long finish. Delicious. What a bargain!
