The true commemorative bottling, 2013 was 40 years after the 1973 Chateau Montelena made by Mike Grgich that swept the "Judgement of Paris".this wine has great balance with just enough tropical fruit to be interesting. Lots of Meursault-like character here

Made every year in the same style of The Paris tasting winning Chardonnay back in 1976. Lean and stony on the nose. Sulphur, lemon pith, green apples. Textured and sweet baking spices on the palate. 16 months in French oak.

Crisp and slightly creamy. Nice tones of lemon and melon

California interpretation of Meursault. 25 second finish—no joke. Structure and balance applied by a master to a very rich and big wine.

Honey and almonds. Classic and wonderful at 12 years old. August 2022.

lemon zest, oak, peach, and citrus, it’s warm but not huge.
