Grgich Hills Estate
Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon
Out of Jeroboam. Still so young. Almost primary still. Distinctly Napa and delicious.

Nov 5th, 2016Nice but a bit tight with the first glass. Cassis and old wood smell. It opened up nicely with small pours and aeration. Happy birthday to me!

May 24th, 2016Very pure style with gorgeous sweet blackcurrant, mineral, tobacco, light mint. Medium@bodied but with goid structure. Minerally, chalky with fresh fruit. Delicious and not overtly alcoholic.

Aug 13th, 2020Excellent cab with dark complex layers that open up across the palette, yielding a myriad of enjoyable flavors. Seems to evolve as you drink a glass. It finishes with slightly bitter coffee notes that are divine.

Dec 25th, 2019Nothing not to like with this one. Paired perfectly with Shake Shack burger and fries - don’t judge. Black fruit, dark cherries, hint of spice, long finish. This wine truly has hit its stride. Understated elegance.
