From the translucent garnet color and unusual and wide transparent meniscus, it would be easy to expect a weak wine. That would be very, very wrong. While it is young and tight on the attack and through the middle, but it fans out into a crisp and intense finish that also manages to remain precise. It starts out showing cherry with floral accents but the floral elements become more prominent with air. Enjoyable now, but I expect it to blossom further with more time in the cellar.
