A multitude of bubbles with a fine golden color and a thick mousse. Pear and lychee lead to a lightly toasted finish. Quite a bit of residual sugar that I think will be far more interesting once it starts to move towards carmel notes in a few years.

Oct 6th, 2018This vintage sparkling wine from sonoma shows spectacular tenion. Under ripe pear, baking yeast and fresh cut Jasmine on the nose. Baked lemon meringue on the palate quickly leads to black cherry. The finish is long and refined with just the right amount of acid spice which requires another sip.
