Bright, fresh, earthy. Cranberries and funk.
Light bodied and great with a slight chill.
Makes me want lamb and veggie kebabs.

Would blind as an aged cru Beaujolais. Nice soft fruit.

This new red wine (only the second vintage made) is my new obsession. Once Dionysi poured this for us, I suspected I'd fall for it hard, but I guess I didn't imagine just how hard. Such a light-bodied, fresh character and it really reminds me of Nebbiolo growing in Valtellina, or perhaps young Pian del Ciampolo as it gets more savory with air. Such a marvelous bright, light bodied jewel; this is a gargantuan wine. 12% abv...lifted red fruit...more serious earthy aromatic allusions to graphite and leather, which help ground what would otherwise be irrationally exuberant somewhat tart fruit...yes! Yes, I say! Uncomplicated fresh bliss.

Lovely. Seems like the winemaking was perhaps a bit oxidative and there is a bit of unnecessary oak. To be reductionist, it's something in the realm of Pinot Noir and Nebbiolo. Not terribly high acid, and it's rich for the stated 12.5 abv, but it's definitely got that limestone character

Drank with a northern Greek mushroom and onion pie - so good!! The wine is leathery and meaty lots of savory characteristics with dark fruits and violets

2009. Fresh red berry fruit, pleasantly spiced, light on the finish. Direct, rustic and charming.

Simply needs time to decant! At first, harsh bitter notes like vinegar and soot. After some time could taste very dark fruit like blackberry with maybe some notes of tobacco. Will try again without company and proper decanting and will re rate. Had with Betsy Saraya Britt with Lamb and broccolini
