Top Notes For
A bit more subdued and settled than the last bottle I drank a couple of years ago. The fruit has pulled back a bit, and it’s showing a leaner, more savory side. While not something to ponder on its own, it’s a great accompaniment to dishes like tonight’s ragu, and at bottom I guess that’s what Ripassos are made for.

Oct 4th, 2021I love the luminous color on this! Beautiful melange of fresh and dried cherry on the nose. Subtle sweet spice. Very direct, intense, and pure in the mouth. Great, puckery acids. Not complex, but wonderful with the tomatoey, herby, chicken thigh pasta sauce I made.
