Maison L'Envoye Central Otago Pinot Noir

Central Otago is located in the inland part of the Otago region in the South Island of New Zealand. Know for the worlds largest parrot among other things. And great wines.

Perfumed stinky candied cherry on the nose. Great acidity and a medium finish. Quintessential pinot noir... couldn’t ask for more textbook in the best way. So many jammy messes on the market this stands way ahead of the rest at this price point. Need to try the Burgundian and Wilamitte bottlings.

Pretty light and bright Pinot, but more on the masculine side. Terroir driven for sure!
