Popped and poured. The 2015 Brezza “Cannubi” pours a medium garnet with a largely transparent core and very faint stain of a tears. On the nose, the wine is intense, redolent with roses, cherries, pomegranate, damp basement, some tar and dried herbs. On the palate, the wine is bone dry with high tannin and medium+ acid. Confirming the cherry fruit which again, is quite generous accompanied by licorice, and a thing hanging out way in the back that reminded me a bit of cooked spinach? It sounds worse than it is…but it’s a thing. The finish is long and savory. Pretty tasty stuff. Drink over the next 10-15 years.

Needs more time. After 40 minutes in decanter was a lot better
