This wine is deep ruby with developing aromas and flavors of blackberry bramble, plum sauce, black cherry, fig, Kalamata olive, anise seed, garrigue, vanilla, nutmeg, cedar, cigar, clove, tobacco, leather, earth, and smoked meat.
It’s a dry wine with high alcohol clocking in at 15% ABV. It’s rich on the palate with smooth tannins. It has balance, a strong structure, and complexity. It spent 12 months maturing in new French oak. The finish is medium(+).
A beautiful blend comprised of 25% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon, 15% Syrah, 15% Caladoc, 10% Cabernet Franc, 10% Grenache, 5% Carignan.
