Lodi Cabernet Sauvignon

What really struck me about this Cab was the overwhelming scent of fine tobacco on the nose; this paired well with the soft, velvety tannins of the wine to bring forth a smooth, mellow drink. I would recommend a nice, roasted duck with this wine, as the structure would stand up well to the fatty fowl, but there is not enough tannin to stand against a steak or other rich game. The dark fruit, rich earthy tones, and subtle spice make this a complex steal, at less than $10.

Not a bad everyday Cabernet, this wine is fruity and medium bodied.

Ummm. It’s ok. Drinks like a light Pinot or red not a Cali Cab. Decent. Just more like an <$10 not a $20.

Smooth & fruity. Blackberry and dark cherry flavors. Definitely will drink again!

Crisp and dry, but with unusual flavors of lilac and violets.

Nice everyday Cab. Nothing pretentious, just dark fruits and mild tannins.

Nice blend, nice mouth feel, lots of black pepper up front. Nice blackberry.
