Nice Merlot. Lush, dark fruit on this still. Just lovely. This would hold up to a lot of different meals still.

This bottle was much better than the others we have previously opened. A massive fruit bomb of a Merlot. Drinking really nice right now.

Wanted to like this one so much more. I think this bottle had started to turn though. Super jammy with some must. I’m sure other bottles of this vintage would taste much better. Will rerate when I open up another bottle.

Rich black cherry, plum, and chocolate, with an oak-lined, tobacco finish. Mild acidity. Silky tannins. An exceptional wine. (This note is posted three days after uncorking and then employing a VacuVin seal, which did not appear to affect wine quality.)

A subtle nose hints of black cherry and vanilla. Big and complex yet smooth, black currant with hints of pepper. Licorice finish.
