The 2007 is far superior to the 2008 rated previously. Tannins are definitely gone and the wine seems to be at its peak in 2020. It’s surprisingly got a lot of fruit and the taste lingers quite long. This would excellent with hard Italian cheeses and a simple baguette. Also less gamey meats with tomatoes. Just enough acidity without a bite. Nice wine.
