Textbook, rewarding nose with deeply layered, complex volume. Unfortunately, palate just wasn't there. Thin and fairly abrasive. Not awful, just not great or particularly enjoyable. If only smell alone could tell the whole story.

The last vintage of this PN made in a ocean of Chardonnay. Light in color with a beautiful nose of earth and dry wild mushrooms. Red cherry, spice on a frame of adequate acid and melted tannins. Light weight but not simple. Pleasurable.
