Interesting this can be up to 96% Chardonnay. They trade Chardonnay fruit for Pinot to make this. Franck Bonville only grows Chardonnay. 5 grams dosage.

It has excellent mousse and racy acidity. Better depth than the two previous cuvées.

Strawberries, cherries, very light black raspberries, touch of orange citrus, pink grapefruit, their is a tanginess here, nice soft chalkiness & volcanics, saline, sea fossils, white spice, yeast, baguette crust, cheesecake, pink flowers/roses, excellent acidity, nicely balanced with good tension and a nicely polished finish that last a minute.

This is the youngest in the mix and most of the base wine is from 2021…a year filled with weather issues from start to finish. Don’t think you’ll see many producers make a vintage cuvée.

Vibrant salmon pink despite being only 10% Pinot Noir. Fine persistent bubbles with moderately quickly dissipating white mousse. Inviting nose yields dusty cherry. Medium light palate gives minerally red berries and white pepper. Mouthwatering bright acidity. Low percentage of black grapes means this rosé is less red fruit driven than most, yet it’s still true to style in flavor profile. A rosé for the blanc lover. Drink up to five years after purchase.

#saberit gone wrong. No sooner had the video of the young woman blowing a bottle up on live TV gone viral than this magnum blew up on me. Luckily I only got wet, and the Champagne, though hard to pour, was delicious!

Récoltant manipulant, look for these 2 words on a Champagne Label. A grower who makes and markets Champagne under their own label, grapes exclusively sourced from their own vineyards and processed on premises. One look at the intense color would lead you to believe it would be fruit dominate, but only has 8% Pinot Noir!! A gem, stone and light berry fruit scents, biscuit notes. Black cherry and sweet plum, crisp and fresh with fine mousse, good bubble flow, acidity and balance ending with mineral notes

A very good 750 based on 2014 with reserves from 13, dosed at under 7 grams. This is composed of 90% estate grown Chardonnay and 10% Ambonnay rouge from hot shot Paul Dethune. Great Pinot black cherry fruit and shimmering AVIZE chalk! Lovely with fondue de champignons au chaource!

A candy store oozing of red fruits, partially artificial. You can do better, much better.

New batch just landed at the K & L! Light peachy notes, strawberry, and a backbone of acidy.

Pale salmon color with very appealing strawberry, cherry, citrus blossom and a kiss of spices aromas. On the palate, it's well balanced, with bright acidity and focused, charming cherry, strawberry, and a hint of raspberries and spice with an appealing minerality and a long finish. From 375 ml
