Top Notes For
Sipping Fine Wine

Liked it so much I had to try another bottle. Founded in 1972 by a group of lawyers and doctors from San Fran turning their passion for wine into a business. A blend of 73% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 2% Malbec & 1% Cabernet Franc, aromas of dark red fruits, spice and nutty notes. Plum and cranberry flavors with espresso, cedar and cacao tones, good balance. Fine tannins that need decanting first, lingering ending with sweet spice notes. Consistent.

Smooth and drinking nicely, but don’t think it has much time left drink now

I have had a ton of the regular Franciscan by the glass. It is a stable choice at restaurants that have limited wine list. I have not actually had the Magnificat until now. I thought it had a mild coffee bean and plum aroma. The plum is predominate fruit along with cigar box and a touch of spice. It is a pretty full bodied wine. The tannins were in check. This went well with a Liga Privada T52. Enjoy a glass.

We went out for dinner and wine at a Mexican restaurant with happy hour, so expectations were definitely *south of the border*. However, one sip of this beautiful blend and i realized it was muy delicioso. I think it was the cab franc in the blend that unleashed a fantastic sweet finish on an otherwise dry wine. Body medium minus, but fruit forward. Chia seeds, vanilla and even fruit by the foot come to mind as the wine slides down your tongue. ¡Asombroso!
