Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Deep purple in color with a cloudy reddish rim.

Showing blackberries, black currants, plums, cooked cherries, earth, vegetables, licorice, light vanilla, oak, spices, peppercorn, tobacco, dark chocolates, coffee and pencil lead.

Full bodied with medium plus acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate and earthy with nice complexity.

Tangy and spicy finish with fine grained tannins.

Drinks like a Left Bank Bordeaux, very interesting coming out of Napa.

Good right out of the bottle and better after 3 hours of airtime.

Still young and already enjoyable. Would be nice to revisit it in 3 to 5 years.

I paired it with a Charcuterie board of meats and cheeses, and really enjoyable it with the truffled duck confit.

14.1% alcohol by volume.

92 points.

$48.
