A beast, this was showing well but the structure on it is still extremely youthful. Leave it alone for another 5 years for it to settle down.

Nice ripe fruit component, beetroot and a hint of dried tomatos on the very interesting and constantly changing nose. Still a very young wine with present tannins. Needs some air to really show what he got. Give it a decant of 1-2 hours. Better in 10-15 years.

Brilliant, tight, concentrated, fresh, still very youthful, but balanced and promising, thanks to its wild yet sweet and polished tannins which today are hiding behind near perfect fruit.

Dark core with ruby red rim. Drunk over two days without decanting. First day the sweet notes from the oak were still very noticeable together with dark fruit, coffee grounds, spices and grilled herbs. Medium minus tannins and good acidity. The second day the oak effect seemed less prevalent and dark cherry, unripe blackberry and herbs soared by glass with nice complexity and depth. Curious to try it further down the line.
