Drinking great. Still has grip but time has tamed the tannins. Leather, anise, mushrooms, and some high toned floral notes. Solid Barolo from a classic vintage.

Jan 18th, 2015Tar, Tea, subtle licorice, dried herbs and fall foliage, overripe red fruit, soft tannic structure, surprising and lively acidic vein. Not fatigued, however drinking mature. Limited complexity on shortened finish, but still balanced and enjoyable.

I took a long break from delectable due to the inappropriate spam I was getting but I decided to come back for now. Hopefully they fixed the problem. This wine is a real surprise. Only rated as 87 points so I let it sit for a while. I opened this beauty to my great surprise. Delicate yet firm acidity with lots of floral and cedar notes on the nose and a delightful 45 second finish. Delish
