Late Bottled Vintage Unfiltered Porto Port Blend

Lovely LBV Porto from Fonseca, with the Fonseca sweetness but still some serious structure showing, could likely benefit from 2-4 more years of aging.

Wonderful deep purple color, lots of plums, cherry, dark chocolate, caramel, full bodied, not too sweet, good complexity, nice acidity, super smooth...
Lovely balanced sweetness in the finish.

Interesting. Lighter bodied than I expected. Aroma of petrol blows off quickly. Raisins and prunes. Not overly sweet. Lots of finesse.

Young and simple port. Dry fruits, chocolate, soft tannins. Pleasent to drink instead of dessert.
