Light straw in color with a green tint.

Fruity nose of green apples, limes, grapefruits, light tropical fruits, grass, light earth, spices and minerals.

Medium plus in body and creamy, with medium-plus acidity. Crisp and refreshing.

Dry on the palate with citrus, limes, green apples, grapefruits, lemons, bitter herbs, spices, light vegetables and white pepper.

Long finish with limes and almonds.

This is a very tasty Sauvignon Blanc based blend From Napa Valley. Tangy, rich and expressive.

Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good with food too.

Easy drinking, good for the pool, and better when not too cold.

A good quality wine. Well balanced and refreshing. Would be interesting to try it again in 3 years.

Tastes like a Sauvignon Blanc and feels like an unoaked Chardonnay. A perfect combination.

Paired nicely with the horseradish Cheddar cheese. Tangy and interesting.

A blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay and Malvasia. Aged for 7 months in a combination of concrete “egg” vessels and French oak barrels. A small production of 550 cases.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

91 points.

$50.

Finally getting around to posting wines from my annual Napa trip from two weeks ago. Always goes by quick! Lots of fun new stops this year.

One of the main reasons we go to Napa every year is to attend the Trilogy Release party. Trilogy holds a special place in my family’s heart and it’s always a treat to visit the estate where they pour it like water!

@Delectable Wine has this identified as a Sauvignon Blanc, but this vintage is a white blend. Unique. 44% SB, 41% chardonnay, 10% Malvasia and 5% pinot gris. I’ve had the last few vintages of this and the 2018 is vastly superior. Very fun wine. Lots of texture and depth here...assuming some oak influence. Orange blossom, honeysuckle, peach and candied ginger on the nose. Nice viscosity and acidity showing stone fruits, hint of minerality and a crisp finish. This is meant to be the white wine version of Trilogy.
