Beautiful and approachable Barbaresco from a solid producer. Slightly rustic initially, yielding to mint, tart cherry, herbs, and walnuts. Delicious. Total Wine, Alfio Moriconi Selection.

Pretty good. Not too acidic, medium bodied. Still searching for the prunto barbaresco, but this one is a decent runner up.

Delicious cherries 🍒 dried herbs 🌿 licorice, potpourri, cedar 🪵 sweet tobacco, and baking spices. Nicely balanced. Structure is strong with medium(+) acidity and tannins, high alcohol (14.5% ABV), and concentrated aromas and flavors. Medium body. Medium(+) finish.
