Deep purple color with legs. Aromas of mushrooms, olives, chocolate, and cherries. Medium body, medium tannins, with similar flavors and additional notes of tea leaves, kalamata olives, and cocoa powder. Medium + finish. Will definitely improve with age.

Dark ruby color. Aromas of bright red fruit, violets and peppery spice. (Not overbearing). The palate is rich with ripe red and black berry/cherry fruit as well as nice peppery and earthy tones on the finish. Rustic and hearty. Two interesting blending partners. Powerful but acidity was a bit low. Solid with grilled meats. Thanks for opening this one, Ron B!

Very simple label, but classy in an Italian style way. The wine is dark red, maroon. Aroma is cooked cherries and berries plus autumn leaves. Great flavors in an Italian vain. Cherry juice, drying tannins, dusted chocolate truffle. Nice density. For a cheap Sicilian red, this blend nails it.

A classy black and red label color scheme. Pretty color. Deep red with just a hint of magenta. Aroma is elegant with a perfumed floral side that meets toasty bread. Just a hint of tart red berries too. Flavors are ripe. Juicy. Warm flavors. Plenty of drying tannin too.Classic southern Italy with a little something extra 🇮🇹.

The nose has ripe, round berry notes with a hint of burnt rubber. The palate is fruity and food friendly. This wine was great with baked ziti. 8.5 out of 10.
