Ruby color. Lively jammy raspberry, black raspberry, black plum aromas with a hint of caramel smoke, coffee, and chocolate. On the palate it offers pleasing plummy fruits with moderate acidity and light-textured tannins. It doesn't feel as heavy as its 14.9% abv suggests. The finish is clove and milk chocolate. Overall a fruit-driven but not overblown California red blend, supple and well integrated, pleasing by the glass. 66% syrah, 19% petite sirah, 15% grenache; $35 srp (sample)

Overall a perfect bottle of wine. It was everything my wife and I love in a bottle; strong flavors but not overpowering. A solid red blend!

Jammy- animale- dark fruit. A little too intense and slightly off balance for me. But maybe I need a steak ;)

Big? Maybe, but it certainly wasn't easy to drink. Hot on the palate and way too jammy for my taste.
