Rosso di Montalcino Sangiovese

Little beat up. Served warm.

Very solid Rosso, especially for the price. Opened up quite a bit once it was able to breathe.

Light colored, modest earth tones, hint of faded cherries and smooth.

2017年&畑の場所からするももっとパワフルかと思いきや、サンジョベーゼらしいスミレの香りに透明感のある果実味で旨味タッチなスタイル。枯葉のようなアーシーな香りも。

これで上代2800なんだからお値打ち感あり。

Okay….bright fruit with medium minus depth. Not overly tannic which was nice. Overpriced at the small family run restaurant, which is good for them.

Great value. Nice acidity and gripping tannins. Dried herbs, tobacco and old cherry. Some cranberry there too.

Good red. Both liked it.
