Lovely. Full bodied, fruit forward but not overdone. Easy drinking.

Very disappointing considering the vintage. Unbalanced and very rough around the edges with disjointed flavors of overpowering anise along with subtle vanilla, dark berries, and burning wood. Nearly unapproachable tannins. The finish was not as long as it should've been. Even for a young wine that has not yet peaked, this Brunello fell far too short. I couldn't even finish the bottle. I suppose I got what I paid for at $40 USD.
