Deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and notes of forest floor. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with floral, herb and oak. Fine grainy chalky tannins, lively acidity, long finish ending with fruit and mineral spice, tight, needs time. Nice!

It was okay. Got better over the 4 days I was drinking it.

Deep Ruby with aromas of dark fruits and rustic spice. On the palate flavors of plum and black cherry with herb dusty spice, some cacao and oak. Tannins are a bit on the big side but approachable, long finish ending with fruit and earthy spice. Good value.

Dark ruby in color with a short purple rim.

Fruity nose of blackberries, barnyard, black currants, plums, bell pepper, oak, licorice, cloves earth, vegetables, graphite, spices, bitter herbs and black pepper.

Full bodied with Medium acidity and long legs.

Dry on the palate with plums, black currants, bitter vegetables, herbs, spices, dark coffee, pencil lead, earth, leather, tobacco leaf, cloves and peppercorn.

Medium minus on the finish with soft tannins and bitter vegetable.

This Argentinian Malbec from Valle de Uco is still young. Drinkable, but way too earthy with lots of bitter vegetable notes.

Needs a few hours of decanting, which I didn't have, and therefore I enjoyed it much less than I expected.

Better with food than all by itself. Would pair well with BBQ Meats or lamb.

14% alcohol by volume.

82 Points.

$17.
