Initial release by Manfred Krankl's(SQN) son.

2.5 hour decant (little cloudy sediment). A majestic medium crimson red color. On the nose: cherry candy, vanilla, spice, slight funk, black raspberry. Taste: juicy, rich, deep medium plus body wine with black raspberry, licorice, vanilla, dirt, baking spice and a strawberry espresso long dry finish with a little tannic kick. Will wait a little on the next bottle, and congrats to Nikolas for a nice start.

blackberry, blackcurrant, raw meat, bramble, funk, boot leather, big, full and plush, med tannin, long finish. Pretty far stylistically from what I usually drink, but this was impressive

A bright beautiful crimson ruby red in color. Nose - candied cherry, vanilla and a barnyard funk are the initial aroma scents followed by cedar, spice and florals . Taste red-black fruits, vanilla and cedar hit the palate with a mild tannic kick and notes of chocolate strawberry espresso and a long dry finish. We’ll give the next bottle a little more time to see how all its flavors come together. A big wine for sure and fun to try for the first time.
