Had the 2008. it was ok the first day but the second day seemed better. the tannins seemed to calm down. it's a big, fruit-forward wine but with structure.

Woah. This was a seriously excellent wine. Super bold for a petit sirah but full of complexity. I'm writing this after the tasting, so I can't give a full description, but I would recommend this 100%. We had the 2011 vintage. Amazing.
