opened with plums and manure; blew off quickly and settled into red fruit and spices.

We had the 2021 Vintage on 5/20/23. A young wine that needed aeration for at least an hour. Black cherry and cinnamon on the bouquet. Red cherry, raspberry and cranberry and a little oak on the palate. A tart finish. Medium bodied and fruit forward.

Baby killer. Had to drink a bottle from the shipment to see where it was at because the tasting was a bit of a blur. Had a chance to drink some decade vintage there, oof. Hold.

Smelled like manure. Tasted like cherry cola. I couldn’t get past the smell.

I love Willamette Pinot because it’s so unique. It’s generally less fruity and obvious than California, but softer and more approachable in its youth than Burgundy. This is no exception. The nose is super fresh and a little tart. Cherry cola and bubble gum. The palate is earthier than the nose lets on with moderately high acid. I even get some black pepper and rubber. It definitely keeps you coming back for another sip.

Loving this from the terrific 2012 vintage. Evolved nicely in the glass after the decant too. Edges were still present on open. Needed some rounding...

@Antonio Galloni need to be a pest here — doesn’t feel great to pay for premium service but see ads and not get the unlocked ratings.... issues continue.
